What We Believe

What is the Gospel?

The Gospel is the good news!  Its an announcement that anyone can enjoy a loving and life-changing relationship with their Creator.  This restored fellowship with God has been provided…better yet, gifted to us through the person and work of Jesus.  And now, those who love and honor Him (i.e. His Church), are banding with Him through His Spirit in making our homes, our work, our cities and our world into places of peace, celebration and goodness.

What is Communion?

The practice of communion serves as a vital reminder to individuals that their personal faith and purpose are interconnected with the greater body of Christ, reinforcing the significance of their unique contributions to the collective mission and strengthening their sense of unity within the faith community. (1 Cor. 11:28, Matt. 5:23-24, Ps. 139:23-34)

What is Community?

Being in community within the body is crucial as it fosters spiritual support, accountability, and a sense of belonging, allowing individuals to grow in their faith and collectively fulfill the church's mission to serve and spread God's love. (Heb. 10:24-25, 1 Cor. 12:27, Rom. 12:4-5) What to Expect on Sunday

What is Commission?

Jesus instructs His followers to "Go therefore and make disciples of all nations, baptizing them in the name of the Father and of the Son and of the Holy Spirit, teaching them to observe all that I have commanded you." (Matt. 2819-20) This call compels us not only to share the Gospel but also to actively engage in fostering deep connections within our communities, volunteering our time to serve others, thus embodying the servant leadership of Christ's love and teachings. (Acts 1:8, 2 Tim. 2:2)

What is Sunday Worship?

It’s like an aircraft carrier...a place to land, be refueled for the purpose of being winsomely sent back out into the world.  When a local congregation embraces this, Sundays become an attractive place for neighbors to explore the claims of Jesus. (Ps. 95:6, John 4:23-24, Col. 3:16-17) Sunday Worship
